The British Hypertension Society is delighted to invite you to its 2016 Annual Scientific Meeting.  The venue this year is The Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, twenty minutes from central Dublin.

We are delighted to welcome participation in the meeting of colleagues from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland, the Irish Cardiac Society and the Irish Heart Foundation and Council for High Blood Pressure. The meeting is open to all healthcare professionals with an interest in hypertension and is not only the most important forum in the calendar to exchange new ideas but is also a great networking opportunity in a convivial atmosphere.

Programme topics include: A review of Hypertension in the UK and Ireland, Lipids, ABPM, Research Network Workshop, Medicines Adherence, Clinical Trials, Open Abstracts, the Pickering Lecture presented by Professor Paul Whelton and talks from our Invited Speakers: Professor Calum MacRae, Professor Patrick Vallance and Professor Scott Wright.

The BHS welcomes abstracts for both oral and poster presentations and abstract submission opens on Monday 29th of February on our dedicated meeting website www.bhsevents.org.  There is also an opportunity on the website to register your interest in the meeting before registraiton opens on the 29th of March 2016.

There are some extremely cheap flights to Dublin with Ryan Air and Aer Lingus, so we look forward to welcoming you to Ireland in September!
